Geoheritage website links local history and geology

CALUMET, MI - A retired Upper Peninsula professor is bringing geology and history together with a website that promotes the area's geoheritage.

The Daily Mining Gazette of Houghton reports that retired Michigan Technological University professor Bill Rose started the website to provide information on unique geological sites individuals can explore and promote tourism in an area known as Copper Country.
