Judge signs off on deal ending donation cap

MADISON - A federal judge has signed off on an agreement that will result in the state of Wisconsin no longer enforcing a cap on how much people can donate in total to candidates running for office.

U.S. District Judge Lynn Adelman on Thursday signed the settlement agreement reached between the state and donor Fred Young of Racine.
