Kudos to Vilas County Employees

I am SO impressed with the story from Channel 12 about the Vilas County employees leaving their positions due to lack of funding. I think more people in government positions should be this considerate and reasonable. According to that article, by reducing the staff they will save about $100,000. Although it is not enough to cover the 1.2 million dollar budget shortfall, it is certainly a start. It says a lot about a person when they bow out as these have, my hats off to them! It sounds like they really didn't have much of a choice. Were they supposed to throw fits and refuse to leave? It is the mature thing to do in my opinion.
