Late start to strawberry growing

ANTIGO - A Langlade County strawberry farmer needs more time to grow crops and that's because of the late Spring. Merry's Berries is waiting more than a week longer to sell their strawberries. Growers are more concerned about the length of the season rather than the start.

"The winter was very extended and things were really late to start to grow," says Merry's Berries Owner Andy Merry.
