Local water spring treated, cleaned

RHINELANDER - You can now use water from the Crescent Water Spring without needing to boil it.

The Oneida County Health Department finished treating the spring with chlorine. The spring was treated after it recorded high bacteria levels.

Sanitarians say the bacteria formed because the cover on the spring box was old and leaking.
