Officers warn people about phone scams

RHINELANDER - The Oneida County Sheriff's Office wants people to be aware of a phone scam.

A Rhinelander woman got a call Wednesday. The suspect told the woman she owed the IRS money. The person told her if she hung up she would be arrested in an hour.
