RHINELANDER - Sunlight and warm weather can help many trees bloom, but some Northwoods pines aren't as green as they should be.
The pine trees closest to the roadways tend to look the worst. Many of the pines are still recovering from the stress of this winter. The winter cold is just one factor among several that affects the pines this time of year.
