Record heroin deaths in 2013

APPLETON - A newspaper investigation has found a record 227 people died from heroin use in Wisconsin last year. Post-Crescent Media reports the deaths mark at 10 percent increase from 2012. Heroin deaths have increased rapidly in recent years after averaging about 30 per year in Wisconsin from 2000 to 2007. Full story: WJFW
