Republican Senate Majority Leader says replacing standards difficult

MADISON - The Republican leader of the state Senate says replacing Common Core education standards as Gov. Scott Walker wants will be ``difficult.''

Senate Majority Leader Scott Fitzgerald said in a statement Friday that while there may be support for repealing current standards, ``developing new standards that satisfy everyone's concerns will be much more difficult.''
