Rhinelander receives Tree City USA designation

RHINELANDER - Rhinelander can now call itself a Tree City. The town received its Tree City USA designation Monday. The honor is given to communities that meet certain forestry-related criteria including having a tree board or department in place, a tree care ordinance, and a forestry program, in addition to holding an Arbor Day celebration.
