Teaching assistant accused of having sex with minor could face jury trial

VILAS COUNTY - A Northwoods special ed teaching assistant could have a jury trial this year.

Fourty-year-old Jody Ann Shepherd is accused of having sex with a minor under the age of 16. Wednesday, her attorney tried to suppress evidence for that jury trial, but he wasn't successful.
