UPDATE: Plane crashes at Stevens Point Airshow, pilot dies

The Stevens Point Police Department wants to know what caused a plane to crash during an air show today.

Sergeant Tony Babl of the Stevens Point Police Department says the single plane was performing aerial maneuvers when it went down in a wooded area. The plane went down about 1000 feet east of the airport runway. The plane was a 1993 YAK-55M.
