Wood County Jail inmate back in custody

WOOD COUNTY - A Wood County jail inmate returned to police custody after escaping from a hospital Saturday.

42-year-old Jason Metz was being treated at Riverview Hospital in Wisconsin Rapids and escaped from the hospital. He then stole a car.

About an hour later, Metz was found at a relative's house in Port Edwards.
