2014 called rebuilding year for deer herd

MADISON - The Department of Natural Resources views 2014 as a rebuilding year for the Wisconsin deer herd.

A report on the nine day gun deer hunt was provided to the Natural Resources Board yesterday.

Preliminary numbers show hunters killed 191-thousand deer.
