3 workers rescued from pit in downtown Milwaukee

MILWAUKEE - Crews have rescued three construction workers who were trapped more than 30 feet below ground in downtown Milwaukee.

Police say the workers were underground in a pit, blowing cement through a large hose for the foundation. The hose became clogged and then suddenly released, throwing the workers backward against a concrete wall.
