THREE LAKES - 65 miles per hour won't get you far at the Three Lakes Shootout. The racers here have a need for speed. The shootout gives them a chance to go as fast as they can in controlled, safe conditions.
"Safety is absolutely paramount. We have a safety briefing that is mandatory for all drivers," said event chairman Jim Leatzow.
