Brewers deal minor leaguer Morris to Pirates

MILWAUKEE - The Milwaukee Brewers have traded minor league first baseman Hunter Morris to the Pittsburgh Pirates for a player to be named.

The Pirates announced the deal Thursday for the Brewers' fourth-round pick from the 2010 draft.

The 26-year-old Morris hit .279 with 11 home runs and 42 RBIs in Triple-A last season.
