Community celebrates library's 75th anniversary

SAYNER - Public libraries can be an important tool in a community. Many people consider their library a community staple. That's why a Northwoods community came together to celebrate their library's anniversary.

Plum Lake Public Library in Sayner celebrated its 75th anniversary Sunday. It was established in 1939.

The library's director says this is a way to thank the community because they helped get it to where it is today.
