MINOCQUA - Permanent residents in Minocqua don't want the town to move forward with a proposed pavilion project. The proposal would have meant cutting down one tree and building a new pavilion, but that won't happen.
99 people voted for the project while 164 voted against it at the Minocqua Center Gymnasium Thursday night.
