LAKE MILLS, WI - The Wisconsin State Patrol has released dash camera video of a trooper being dragged by a suspected drunken driver who sped away from an interstate traffic stop.
The video shows the trooper reaching into the car to try to stop the driver Friday night, but the man accelerated and dragged the officer about 100 feet. The trooper then tumbles to the pavement at the edge of the interstate. The officer gets up, runs back to his squad, attempts to pursue the driver, but loses him.
