Deputies warn people about phone scams

FLORENCE COUNTY - Florence County deputies want people to not give out any personal or banking information over the phone.

The Florence County Sheriff's Office is investigating two separate phone scams. Chief Deputy David Gribble says both phone scams were reported on August 22nd.

Gribble says a woman was contacted by a male with a Middle Eastern accent in the first scam.
