DNR looking to change invasive species categories

WISCONSIN - Changes could be coming to how the Wisconsin DNR deals with certain invasive species.

The DNR puts invasive species in a few different categories. The DNR might change what categories certain invasives are in.

If a species isn't in the state or is only in a few spots it will be a prohibited species. That means DNR workers are trying to prevent the species from getting into the state.
