MERRILL - The Merrill Fire Department believes a rubbish fire ended up spreading to a mobile home Monday morning. No one was hurt, but firefighters believe there was about $5,000 worth of damage.
It happened just after 9 a.m. at N 2819 County Highway K north of Merrill.
Neighbors said the mobile home was vacant. Firefighters were able to put out the fire.
