CONOVER - An Northwoods bike trail could be in jeopardy. Wednesday night, the Conover town board may consider backing out of an agreement that would fund the first portion of the Conover-Phelps Trail.
"The project is about to be authorized to be bid and actually built next summer," says Great Headwaters Trails President Jeff Currie.
That project is the first portion of a bike, pedestrian, and snowmobile trail that would connect Conover and Phelps. But it may not happen.
