Judge denies Wis. Chippewa's night deer hunt bid

MADISON - A federal judge says Wisconsin's Chippewa tribes can't hunt deer at night. The state Department of Natural Resources has long banned night deer hunting out of safety concerns. The Chippewa agreed to abide by the prohibition when they were hashing out hunting and fishing treaty rights in front of U.S. District Judge Barbara Crabb two decades ago. Full story: WJFW
