Keeping local history alive in older, historic homes

RHINELANDER - Older homes can turn into a hassle for owners not expecting some work.

Many people avoid buying a historic piece because of the upkeep. But others enjoy carrying the story of a home forward, and keeping it alive. Some homeowners got the chance to show off their historical homes at the Tour of Historic Homes on Saturday.
