Lac du Flambeau tribe funds college program for Vilas County inmates

VILAS COUNTY - Inmates at the Vilas County Jail can now earn college credit.

The Lac du Flambeau tribe is funding the program. It's available to all inmates, not just tribal members.

Instructors from Lac Courte Oreilles Ojibwa Community College will travel to the jail three times each week.
