Local family raises money for a family member needing a lung transplant

RHINELANDER - Father's Day generally means treating dad to a special day in order to thank him for all he's done. One family in the Northwoods had an emotional Father's Day. They're in fact, remembering a father who died, while at the same time raising money for a son in need.

"We were here at 3:00 a.m. this morning," said Susan Wege, co-owner of Sportsman's Café. "Baking and getting things ready. We make all of our baked goods from scratch; pies and cakes and cookies, getting that all taken care of and getting the buffet set up and everything."

Now to most people, that sounds like a typical day of working at a restaurant.
