A local retired seamstress finally got the chance to pursue her artistic passions

MINOCQUA - Helen Wolk is the Lakeland Art League's featured artist for March.

She's showcasing her work at Great Northern Coffee Traders in Minocqua.

Wolk wanted to go to art school as a teenager. Now she works with mixed media, in particular watercolors and sketches.
