WAUSAU - A 40-year-old Athens man faces multiple charges for holding a woman hostage and sexually assaulting multiple times over a two day span, according to a criminal complaint.
Michael Mayville faces nine counts of second degree sexual assault, as well as another charge. Each count carry's a maximum of 40 years in prison.
