MERRILL - Last year's record breaking cold encouraged Merrill leaders to move forward with getting a warming center.
In November the Merrill Area United Way opened the center at the old Lincoln Community Bank Drive-Thru on Main Street.
The building is not open during the day, but is available to people at night.
