Mining Will Stay In Oneida County Code

Whether you like it or not, the possibility of mining won't be leaving Oneida County for now. Even though the County Board voted against mining earlier this year -- it'll remain part of county code. Supervisor Paul Dean's resolution to remove mining language failed. He wanted it out after the county voted against exploration in the Town of Lynne. Supervisor Jack Martinson believes new language could be drafted if someone else wants to pursue projects. Full Story: WJFW
