No raises for state workers

MADISON - The legislative committee that handles state workers' contracts has agreed to give them no pay raises over the next two fiscal years.

The Joint Committee on Employment Relations voted 7-2 on Tuesday to adopt a 2015-17 compensation plan that includes no general wage adjustment in either year.
