WISCONSIN - Wisconsin school districts could lose local control of their schools if a proposed bill passes.
The Wisconsin Assembly is working on a school accountability bill that would grade public schools. If a school failed for four consecutive years, it would turn into a charter school.
Scott Foster is the principal at Land O' Lakes Elementary. He doesn't want to see local control taken away from school districts. "I definitely do not feel that fear is a great way to motivate teachers," Foster said.
