Obama nominates Peterson for Wisconsin federal judge

MADISON - President Barack Obama has nominated Madison attorney James D. Peterson for a federal judgeship that's been vacant for years in western Wisconsin. Peterson was nominated Thursday to succeed former Senior U.S. District Judge John Shabaz. Shabaz retired in 2009 and died in 2012. Full Story: WJFW
