Obama's Wisconsin visit comes as Walker prepares campaign

MADISON - Gov. Scott Walker will greet President Barack Obama when he comes to La Crosse on Thursday to talk about the economy.

Walker spokeswoman Laurel Patrick said Tuesday that Walker would meet the president.

The visit comes at an awkward time for Walker, as he prepares to launch an expected run for the White House in a couple weeks.
