Planting a buffer zone to protect local lakes

ONEIDA COUNTY - Many people move to the Northwoods to live by a beautiful lake. But some neighbors worry too many people change the shoreline by their lakefront homes. That can cause chemicals to runoff into the lakes.

Some environmentalists think planting a buffer zone along the shoreline can protect the lakes.
