Poor ice conditions force Northwoods outdoor events to move

MINOCQUA - Pond hockey in Eagle River won't be the only Northwoods outdoor event this weekend moved because of poor ice conditions.

Cruiserfest needed to move to a different part of Lake Minocqua to keep snowmobile racers safe.

The races usually take place near the Thirsty Whale, but poor ice conditions and a strong current forced organizers to move the event to Torpy Park.
