Possible drug overdose serves as catalyst for heroin investigation

he Oneida County Sheriff's Office and members of the Northcentral Drug Enforcement Group (NORDEG) have begun an investigation following a possible drug overdose death in the town of Crescent. The investigation is specifically targeting the use and delivery of heroin, according to a sheriff's office press release sent out Wednesday afternoon. The death of David M. Stahl, 29, as a result of a possible drug overdose is one of the events spurring on the investigation.
