MADISON - A group of protesters is accusing Wisconsin wildlife officials of mismanaging the state's wolf hunt.
About a dozen protesters affiliated with the Wolf and Wildlife Action Group converged on the Capitol's steps Monday holding rusty leg traps and photos of injured wolves. They complained the Department of Natural Resources allowed hunters to go above the statewide kill limit this year. They also insisted trapping wolves and hunting them with dogs is inhumane.
The group marched to Gov. Scott Walker's office.
