Rain and snow melt keeps water supply up

ACROSS THE NORTHWOODS - The Northwoods got plenty of rain and snow this spring. Now lakes and streams have more water. But it also means there is more water in the ground.

After a snowy winter and a wet spring many public water supplies have gained water. But some of that water is not available right away.
