Right now, most sex offenders can live anywhere in the city of Phillips.

That means they can live near parks, schools, and other places where children are, but Phillips' Police Chief wants to change that.

Park Falls has an ordinance that prevents sex offenders from living 1,500 feet from places where children gather.
