Ruffed Grouse population in Wisconsin looks healthy

WISCONSIN - The Ruffed Grouse population in Wisconsin looks healthy according to a new study released by the DNR.

The DNR counted the number of potential breeding grouse in the state.

They did that by listening for the drumming noise made by the males in 88 areas across the state.
