Study: nearly 1/3 of deer ticks carrying Lyme disease

ACROSS WISCONSIN - A UW-Eau Claire study found nearly 1/3 of deer ticks analyzed carried the bacteria that causes Lyme disease. Dr. Lloyd Turtinen, professor of biology at the University of Wisconsin-Eau Claire, lead the study with a group of students. The study looked at DNA from 341 adult female deer ticks in 21 Wisconsin counties over the last four years. Full Story: WJFW
