Study shows coyotes are the number one predator of deer in the U.P.

MICHIGAN'S U.P. - A study shows coyotes kill more deer in the U-P than other animals. That's instead of wolves, bobcats and bears.

The Michigan DNR and Mississippi State University are working together on a deer population study. The groups are conducting the study by tracking deer and predators.

Experts say coyote population numbers impact the results.
