University of Wisconsin Extension plans for budget cuts

MADISON - The University of Wisconsin Extension plans to reduce staff and leave vacancies open to deal with budget cuts.

The $5.2 million dollar reduction is part of the state budget signed by Governor Scott Walker.

It represents an 8 percent cut in state funding for U-W Extension.
