UPDATE: One person dead after two-car crash near Merrill

NEAR MERRILL - One person died after a two car head on crash near Merrill Tuesday afternoon.

The Lincoln County Sheriff's Office says the crash happened on State Highway 17 just south of Smith Road around 1:30 p.m.

Both drivers along with a passenger from on the cars were transported to Good Samaritan Hospital from injuries.
