Upgrades at some farmers market allow Food Stamps, benefit farmers and shoppers

TOMAHAWK - People can now use Food Stamps to buy fruits and vegetables at farmers markets in Lincoln County.

Farmers markets in Tomahawk and Merrill have new machines that accept QUEST cards. It's part of the county's push to get lower income families to eat healthier food.
