US fund gives Michigan $1.13 million for outdoor recreation

LANSING, MI - Federal officials say that Michigan is getting $1.13 million from the Land and Water Conservation Fund for outdoor recreation and conservation efforts.

U.S. Interior Secretary Sally Jewell announced the funding Tuesday as part of $43.38 million being distributed nationwide.
