Walker proposes grades, but no sanctions, for public schools

MADISON - Gov. Scott Walker is proposing that all schools receiving public money also be graded on a variety of performance measures.

But unlike Assembly Republicans, Walker is not calling for there to be sanctions for failing schools.

Walker released his plan as part of the state budget Tuesday.
